At Manning Veterinary Clinic, we understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. That's why we welcome your furry family members to our spacious boarding facility, where they can enjoy a friendly, relaxed, and caring environment surrounded by people who genuinely love animals.

We offer pet boarding 7 days a week and strive to make your pet's stay as convenient and stress-free as possible. If your travel plans require a drop-off or pick-up outside of our regular business hours, after-hours arrangements may be available for an additional fee. Please contact us in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate your schedule.

🏡 Spacious Accommodations

Our boarding facility features 14 large indoor kennels with outdoor runs, providing plenty of room for your dog to rest, relax, and enjoy some time outdoors.

If you have more than one dog in your family, we can accommodate them together in one of our spacious shared pens, provided they are comfortable staying together. We know that some pets feel much more at ease when they have their familiar companion by their side.

For dogs who are accustomed to spending their time outdoors, we also have outdoor accommodations available, weather permitting.

No matter where your pet stays, our goal is the same: to help them feel comfortable, secure, and at home while you're away.

☀️ Plenty of Fresh Air & Outdoor Time

When weather conditions allow, our boarding guests enjoy time outdoors during the day, with access to shelter, shade, swimming pools, and toys so they can stretch their legs, enjoy some fresh air, and have a little fun.

During the colder winter months, when extended outdoor time isn't appropriate, we make sure your pet still gets regular activity and attention. Dogs will be walked or turned out at least three times a day, allowing them opportunities for exercise, fresh air, and a change of scenery.

At the end of each day, all pets return to a clean, comfortable environment where they can settle in and rest for the night.

❤️ More Than Just Boarding

Because we're a veterinary clinic, your pet has the added reassurance of being in close proximity to veterinary care while they stay with us.

If you choose to have your pet receive veterinary care during their boarding stay, we can accommodate appropriate healthcare needs while they are here. This can be especially convenient for pets who require medications, routine care, or attention to a health concern.

We also offer bathing and nail trims, making it easy to give your pet a little extra pampering before they head home.

🍽️ Bringing Your Pet's Food

To help your pet maintain their normal routine while they're away, we ask that you bring enough of your dog's regular food for their entire stay. Keeping their diet consistent can help prevent unnecessary tummy troubles and make the transition into boarding easier.

If needed, we also offer Purina Veterinary Diet EN Gastroenteric food for an additional fee.

Our goal is to give you peace of mind while you're away, knowing that your pet is spending their time in a clean, spacious environment with caring people who are attentive to their individual needs.

Whether your dog is staying with us for a weekend getaway, a family vacation, or simply while you're away on business, we'll do our best to make their stay a happy, comfortable, and enjoyable experience.

All boarding guests must be up-to-date with their vaccinations- this is standard for any reputable boarding kennel. If your pet requires vaccinations, we can provide vaccinations at an additional charge upon arrival. 

If your pet is found to have worms or fleas, they will be treated appropriately at an addition cost to you. This will ensure that our facility, your pet, and your home stay pest and parasite free.

We require that your boarding pet have the following vaccinations:

 Rabies, DAPPv, Bordetella (kennel cough) 

🐾 Planning Your Pet’s Stay

We want your pet’s stay with us to be as comfortable and stress-free as possible, which is why reservations are required for all boarding stays.

Pets can be dropped off and picked up during our regular business hours:

Monday–Saturday | 8:30 AM–4:00 PM
Closed daily from 12:00–1:00 PM for lunch

Need a little extra flexibility? We understand that travel plans and schedules don't always fit neatly within regular business hours. After-hours drop-off and pick-up may be available upon request, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs for an additional fee. Please contact us in advance so we can make arrangements.

🧳 What to Bring

To help keep your pet's routine familiar, owners are asked to provide their pet's regular food for the duration of their stay. We provide the rest, including:

• 🛏️ Comfortable bedding

• 🧸 Toys

• 🥣 Food and water bowls

• 🦮 Leashes

Providing your pet's usual food can help minimize changes to their routine and keep their tummy happy while they're away from home.

🐶 A Special Note About Puppies

For the health and safety of all our boarding guests, we do not board puppies under 4 months of age.

Young puppies are still developing their immune systems and may not yet have completed their recommended vaccination series. Until they are fully protected, they can be more vulnerable to contagious diseases.

We know it can be difficult to make arrangements for your newest family member when you're away. If your puppy is under four months of age, we recommend considering a trusted family member or friend who has healthy dogs with current, up-to-date vaccinations to care for them until they are old enough to safely enjoy a boarding stay with us.

Once your puppy reaches the appropriate age and has received the necessary vaccinations, we'd be happy to welcome them for their own special stay! 🐾❤️

🐾 Peace of Mind While You’re Away

When you leave your beloved pet in our care, you can feel confident knowing they are not only surrounded by people who genuinely love animals, but are also in close proximity to our veterinarian. Their health and comfort are always a priority.

One of the special benefits of boarding with us is that veterinary care is right here if an unexpected concern arises. If one of our caring team members notices anything unusual or becomes concerned about your pet's health, they will promptly bring it to the attention of the veterinarian. Dr. McCracken will then contact you, or your designated emergency contact, to discuss the concern and request permission for any necessary treatment.

In the rare event that we are unable to reach you or your designated contact after making every reasonable effort, Dr. McCracken will use her professional judgment to provide any treatment she feels is necessary to protect your pet's health and wellbeing. We believe no animal should be left without appropriate care when they are sick, injured, or in distress.

For this reason, please make sure we have a current phone number where you can be reached while you are away, as well as a valid email address. Keeping your contact information up to date helps us reach you quickly should we ever need to discuss your pet.
